Copper Exhibition | Truchum Reports Breakthroughs in 5G, Deep-Sea, and Robotics Copper Applications

Anhui Truchum Advanced Materials & Technology Co., Ltd. announced in a recent conference call that it is accelerating the commercialization of high-end copper materials across strategic emerging industries, including 5G communications, marine engineering, and robotics. Leveraging technology upgrades and application-specific innovations, the company has demonstrated strong market expansion capabilities and reinforced its technological edge.

Truchum disclosed that its copper conductor products are already being supplied in volume to leading wire harness manufacturers such as Zhejiang Cardiff and Xinya Electronics, meeting the core component needs of traditional industrial robots. Notably, the company has also entered the humanoid robotics segment, delivering advanced conductive materials tailored for next-generation intelligent robots. Analysts highlight that humanoid robots require copper materials with higher standards for lightweight performance, conductivity, and fatigue resistance—areas where Truchum’s technology reserves position it for early leadership.

In the 5G communications and smart connectivity sectors, Truchum’s precision copper strip products are being applied in shielding shells, high-speed connectors, and integrated circuit lead frames. Newly developed precision brass and copper strip products now extend into 5G base station connectors, consumer electronics components, and even server interconnects in data centers. According to the company, these materials deliver low-loss, high-stability performance required for high-frequency signal transmission, supporting the miniaturization and efficiency of 5G devices.

For the first time, Truchum revealed major progress in marine engineering applications. Its newly developed profiled copper conductors have been adopted in shipboard cables, offshore wind power systems, and subsea cables for medium- and high-voltage transmission. Designed with specialized structures, the conductors can withstand deep-sea high pressure and corrosive environments, marking a breakthrough for high-end copper materials in marine technology. Industry observers note that with the rapid growth of global offshore wind installations and accelerated deep-sea resource exploration, demand for such conductors is expected to rise sharply.

Truchum’s copper strip business continues its move up the value chain. Beyond traditional uses, precision brass and copper strips have already entered mass production for automotive high-voltage harnesses, supporting the electric vehicle industry with materials that offer high conductivity and heat resistance. These products are also being applied in data center server components, helping enhance energy efficiency. Looking forward, the company aims to further expand applications into semiconductor packaging and aerospace.

The company emphasized its dual-driven model of “materials R&D + application customization,” deepening collaboration with leading downstream enterprises and quickly responding to emerging industry needs. Its multi-sector breakthroughs underscore both technological innovation and the growing strength of domestic alternatives in key materials.

Market analysts believe Truchum’s expansion into 5G, marine engineering, and robotics aligns closely with China’s strategic focus on emerging industries. As high-end copper materials continue to prove their performance in diverse applications, the company is expected to consolidate its industry leadership and provide critical material support for supply chain security and national industrial development.
