Visitor Registration Opens for the Copper China 2026: Five Concurrent Trade Shows Unlock New Opportunities in the Copper Sector

Against the backdrop of dual impetus from new energy and artificial intelligence (AI), copper—an essential foundational material with unparalleled electrical and thermal conductivity—has expanded its application domains exponentially. Its demand structure has shifted from traditional infrastructure to emerging sectors including new energy vehicles (NEVs), AI data centers, photovoltaic (PV) power, wind energy, and energy storage, positioning copper as a core material for energy transition and high-end manufacturing upgrading. Notably, NEVs consume 3–4 times more copper than conventional fuel vehicles; the cumulative copper demand of the three core new energy tracks is projected to exceed 5.03 million tons by 2026. Meanwhile, demand for deep-processed copper products such as high-end precision copper foil and special copper alloys is rising rapidly. Amidst this robust market demand and industry development opportunities, expanding the application boundaries of copper-based new materials, creating new growth avenues for upstream and downstream industrial chains, and advancing the high-end, green, and intelligent transformation of the copper industry have emerged as focal topics within the sector.  

Scheduled for July 8–10, 2026, at Hall N5 of the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC), the Copper China 2026, hosted by RX China and China Nonferrous Metals Fabrication Industry Association, and supported by China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, International Copper Association, Shenzhen Connector Industry Association, China Institute of Energy Economics, will serve as a professional platform integrating technology demonstration, information exchange, and industrial collaboration. By deepening engagement with copper fabricating and its downstream applications and focusing on industrial chain resource integration, the exhibition aims to support the copper sector in achieving high-quality development and contribute to sustainable industry progress.  

Five Concurrent Trade shows: Synergy for a Comprehensive Industry Gathering  

As high-end manufacturing and strategic emerging industries impose increasingly stringent requirements on material performance, collaborative innovation and cross-domain application of nonferrous metal materials have become critical trends in industry development. It is estimated to attract over 35,000 professional visitors, including more than 4,000 international visitors, for discussions on global market trends.
